Soil Science course introduces student to the knowledge of soil characteristics. It also covers the skill of understanding problem soil conservation and its controlling method. It enables student to implement the right basic principles of soil management.
COURSE LEARNING OUTCOME (CLO)
1) Describe the importance of soil management, soil fertility, soil conservation and the management of problems soil in agrotechnology.
2) Explain soil characteristics for plant growth and choose wisely the erosion problem controlling method and practices in soil conservation.
3) Practise the soil fertility management and describe nutrient deficiencies symptoms in plant according to good agricultural practise.
